History - The Company

Denise and Andrew Lane, the Directors of the Company, have been successfully retailing in the trade since 1978.  In 1990 Night 'n Day Foodstores was established in order to begin converting existing foodstores and to offer a franchise system. They had five company owned outlets successfully converted to the common image. The Night 'n Day Foodstore chain began with outlets open on a 24 hour basis 7 days a week in Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill and from 7 am to 11pm in Timaru and Nelson. The outlets are now located throughout the South Island.

The Night 'n Day Foodstore franchise offers better group buying, increased profitablility, uniformed image, full staff training, assistance in updating shop layouts and designs, bi-monthly profit reports, assistance in staff rostering, group advertising, full accounting facilities, and a full consultation service. Denise and Andrew are fully committed to the Night 'n Day Foodstores franchise.
